BEYOND4 was proud to sign to a Memorandum of Understanding with Universiti Malaya, launching the start of a momentous working relationship with Malaysia’s top university and Southeast Asia’s fastest growing startup ecosystem. The signing between both parties were represented by Vice Chancellor of Universiti Malaya, Profesor Dato’ Seri IR. Dr Noor Azuan Abu Osman and CEO of BEYOND4, Mr S.T. Rubaneswaran.

The partnership opens the doors to an upcoming startup pre-accelerator programme, exclusively designed to supercharge the entrepreneurial students and/or academic and administrative staff at Universiti Malaya to commercialise their ideas, innovations, and research. The programme will focus on commercialising selected IP from Universiti Malaya’s portfolio led by select students.

Participants in this programme, and in future BEYOND4 programmes will also receive a Professional Certification in Entrepreneurship for High Growth companies, acknowledging the impact, quality and meticulousness of BEYOND4’s structured programmes. Both parties are also currently working on the preparation and launch of a new educational offering, with a Master of Technology Entrepreneurship slated to be offered to interested parties, entities and students in the coming future.
