On 14 January 2025, Hive 5, MRANTI Park became the stage for some of Malaysia’s most promising students’ startups as MyNext Innovate Demo Day brought together industry leaders, investors, and key stakeholders to witness groundbreaking innovations. Out of 20 startups from Cohort 1, 7 outstanding startups were selected to pitch their cutting-edge solutions, demonstrating their potential to reshape industries and drive technological progress. 

Empowering Startups Through Innovation 

MyNext Innovate Demo Day serves as a platform for emerging startups to showcase their innovative solutions while connecting with potential investors, mentors, and industry experts. The event aligns with Malaysia’s broader mission of nurturing a dynamic startup ecosystem, supporting early-stage companies as they transition from ideation to commercialization. 

The event commenced with Welcoming Remarks from Mr Megat Fazul Azlin Megat Abd Aziz, Head of Graduate & Emerging Talent at TalentCorp, who highlighted the importance of talent development in shaping Malaysia’s innovation landscape. 

S T Rubaneswaran, CEO of BEYOND4, took the stage to highlight BEYOND4’s pivotal role in driving the program, providing an insightful overview of the journey each startup underwent—from inception to Demo Day—while emphasizing the impact of mentorship, innovation, and growth opportunities within the initiative. 

The event concluded with Closing Remarks from Nazrul Aziz, GCOO of TalentCorp, who reiterated the commitment to bridging the gap between talent and opportunity, ensuring that startups receive the necessary support to thrive in today’s competitive landscape. 

After an intense pitching session, three startups emerged as winners, showcasing outstanding innovation and potential –  
Champion: Longemed Medikal – Recognized for their groundbreaking advancements in medical technology. 
1st Runner-Up: Healflex Biowave – Commended for their innovative approach to health and wellness solutions. 
2nd Runner-Up: Urbangreen – Applauded for their commitment to sustainable urban solutions.
